Do you think twice before you dare to take a stand ?
The process of taking a decision is pretty easy and becomes second nature over time although it takes time to implement a decision as the environment usually changes between the time i decide to implement something and the time of the actual implementation, unless of course I am relying and being comfortable on my gap analysis and retro fitting techniques; but I am not sure if I want to be too comfortable.
During the time of the implementation, I face dilemmas of varying nature and one of the dilemmas I often face is the fear among people.
I find that people are afraid to take a stand.
Is the fear because they do not know the values they stand for ?
Is the fear because people are scared to death of the consequences they need to face ?
Is the fear because people are not educated about risk management techniques ?
Is the fear because people are afraid that they are right ?
Is the fear because people are afraid of what other people may think ?
I am not sure what the exact reason is but i am pretty sure that people think at least twice before taking a stand.
The question is : do you dare and take a stand and if you say yes, would you think twice?
