Are you older or younger ?

I am going to ask you a quick question.

How old are ya ?

I don’t want you to answer the question yet but I do want you to think about it, if you want to.

I am sure that you may reflect that pretty much everything makes sense in hindsight especially  if you are searching desperately or does it ?

Depending on where you are in your life, there may be two theoretical answers to a given question.

Let’s revisit the question, now.

How old are ya?

The answer may be a particular number but when we consider a group of people then you may have to allow relativity. you may be younger than the person or older than the person I am talking about.

I am discounting the third possibility that you are the same age as the person although I think that the chances of that occurrence is remote or perhaps equivalent to hitting a ‘OO’ on the roulette table and no; i dont want you to gamble unless you want to. The idea was to introduce the analogy.

For some reason, although the chances are that you could be both , I am betting that you probably thought that you are younger than the person in question.
