Microsoft Office 2010 looks promising

If you have been using a productivity suite to enhance your productivity, then you may be familiar with Office 2003 and Office 2007. Microsoft recently released information that the next upgrade is ready and will be based on the web and called as Microsoft Office 2010.

Office 2007 had introduced the ribbon feature and my understanding is that Office 2010 will support the ribbon in the web based version of office 2010.

The trend to note here is that eventually firms with a strong hold in the desktop market is also joining the internet enabled web revolution by enabling the products to have a presence in the web and all the consumers would need would be a browser…and I say a browser and not a PC or a laptop as the world of smartphones (Yes; I love my Iphone)  have been maturing and supporting a full HTML browser.
