Have you listened to an ultrasonic frequency ringtone ?
My understanding is that we as human beings can hear sounds in the frequency of 20 hertz to 20 Kilohertz. Any frequency lower than 20 hertz is called as Infrasound frequency and any frequency more than 20 kilohertz is called as Ultrasound frequency.
The reason I got into different types of sound is that I was researching for ringtones for my phone and I was wondering if ringtones were available outside the normal human hearing range.
I ran into Ultrasonic ringtones that has a variety of ringtones and I realized that as we go towards the higher frequencies we tend to hear the sound lesser and lesser.
The funny thing is that I had read about the ultra sounds when i was younger but i never had a chance to listen to ultrasounds until now.
