Is it hard to specifically describe true friendship ?
I was talking to my son about true friendship and somewhere down the discussion, I started to drift into my own past as to what true friendship really means.
The reason I am drifting is because I would think that one would be blessed if they have true friends over their lifetime, and the true friend could pretty much be anyone as in their spouse, their significant other, their childhood friend, their kid or as i said, pretty much anyone.
Here are some questions that you can ponder about :
Does true friendship mean sharing life through the thick and thin?
Does true friendship mean let your friends be what they are ?
Does true friendship mean that you start rambling when you get to describe them?
Does true friendship indicate that the friendship remains even after we pass the ‘newness’ of the relationship?
Does true friendship mean that we get to listen to the same stories over and over again?
Does true friendship mean that they will call us the next day morning?
Does true friendship mean that people stick together no matter what ?
Does true friendship indicate unconditional friendship as against conditional friendship ?
Does true friendship have a strong emphasis on respect ?
what say you?
