My Very Excellent Mother Just Served Us Nachos

If you were a student of Astronomy,one of the first things you may have learnt about may have been about heavenly bodies like planets.

I grew up learning that we had nine planets namely

Mercury

Venus

Earth

Mars

Jupiter

Saturn

Uranus

Neptune

Pluto

To remember the planets in the right order,  I was taught the phrase,” My Very Excellent Mother Just Served Us Nine Pizzas”.

Recently I heard that Pluto may not be a planet although I am sure that some studies may indicate otherwise.

If Pluto was not a planet then how would we remember the planets.

Well; we could change the phrase from ‘Nine Pizzas’ to ‘Nachos’.

The phrase would read,” My Very Excellent Mother Just Served Us Nachos”
