Is the juice worth the squeeze?

I am talking about ROI here. ROI means return on investment. When you make an investment, do you care for what the returns are in the investment. if you do then you care about the ROI,if you do not then you may not care of the ROI. I say may not mainly because you may not know that you care for the ROI but you may be calling ROI by a different name, like how I call ROI as the juice.

Ethically speaking, certain manuscripts would teach us that we should not care for the result and we should keep doing our roles or should i say actions inspite of what the results are.

What say you ?

Please note that sometimes the result(juice) is much lesser than the effort (squeeze) but I leave it up to you.

Do you care for the juice?

The answer may depend upon you and if you differentiate and you want to separate the wheat from the chaff.
