Do actors need to fit in the role ?

If you like watching movies, you may or may not care if you are watching the movie from the start or 10 minutes into the movie and you may end up watching the movie more than once.

The interesting thing is that once a movie becomes a hit , an actor becomes a star and I do not mean to stereotype people but actors seem to act in the same way over and over again, for some reason.

For example; if an actor was successful in an action movie by being non-emotional, the actor continues to be non-emotional if the scene in the movie demands an emotional performance and this does not make sense for some reason. The same may be true if an actor who excels in an emotional scene is asked to do an action oriented role.

I think the need is for actors to fit in the role the script of the movie demands.
