Wii helps you watch Youtube on TV
I am a fan of Youtube and a few moons back, I had written a post with an embedded video that introduces Youtube.
I have been using a Nintendo Wii system for some time and now I can leverage Nintendo Wii to browse Youtube and other websites using my Will on my TV.
Yeah !!
More power to Youtube .
The browser used for watching Youtube on TV is called as Opera.
The cost for installing the opera browser on Wii is 500 Wii points that translates to 5 US dollars. I find the cost to be extremely cost effective.
If you are interested in watching youtube on TV, all you need to do is install the internet channel (opera) on your Wii and you are ready to surf the web right on your tv.
You can either go to Youtube or Youtube TV to start watching. The later link has videos that are customizable for an enhanced TV viewing experience and does not have the comments or sidebar.
{Please note that if you click the Youtube TV link on a browser from your computer then you will go to the homepage of Youtube. You will be able to notice the difference only when you use Opera to browse the web or Youtube on your Wii}.
Hope you have fun surfing the web and watching the content of your choice on your TV.
Thanks Google
I am pretty sure that this is the start of a new trend.
