Spit Happens !!!
I was talking about the usage of the words ‘life happens’ to indicate how events in life take a turn when we are planning for different events.
The advantage of the above usage is that we can apply the usage to both good and not so good circumstances. For Example; if something good happens, you can say,”Life happens” and you can downplay the situation. On the other hand if something not so good happens, then you can say, “life happens” and you politely expressed yourself.
One of my friends brought up the point that there may be several versions of the coinage,”life happens”.
Here are some of them:
“Sh*t happens”
“Cr*p happens”
“Spit happens”
“Life happens”
You can decipher quickly by applying synetics in daily life and conclude that Spit happens may be a polite way of saying Sh*t happens.
The above usage can be commonly found across babies bibs, where the usage can also be taken literally. Please note that people may dislike the usage of spit in their daily life except when spit is found on babies or on a bib.
The question to you is if you want to watch out for the third rail !!!
