Are the toys kids use healthy for them ?

When I was a kid, I remember playing with a lot of toys, but I have never heard about a conversation that evaluated if the toy was healthy for the kid. The usual selection criteria was usually focused on the cost of the toy, the target age group of the toy and if the toy would help the kid in the developing their knowledge, skill,and abilities for the future, and lastly if the toy would engage the recipient of the toy.

Rarely; do I remember a conversation where the impact of the toy on the health of the recipient is being discussed and hence here I am sharing the post with you guys.

I found HealthyToys, where the goal is to evaluate toys and determine if the toys would be healthy for the kids. There are several criteria listed when you visit the website but one that caught my attention was if the toy contained any chemicals that may harm the recipient kids of the toy in some shape,size, or form.
