Is an Exit point more important than an Entry point ?
Entry and Exit are primarily checkpoints in any process. What is the criteria to distinguish the difference between the Entry point and the Exit point and which of the two is more important ?
Is is possible that two events have the same entry points but different exit points? Is it possible that two events have the same exit points but had different entry points?
I personally feel that irrespective of the entry point, the exit point is very important. Let’s pretend that we are in a good situation. I think that the exit point is more crucial as we may want to take an exit when we are ahead of the game. If we are not in a good situation, the same rule applies and the exit point still has a more significant role than the entry point.
The criteria for the exit point can be defined by our goal. If we have achieved our goal, then we should be disciplined and take the exit irrespective of what lies ahead. The exit point may indicate a point of no return and hence can indicate a state when we can back-out safely with minimum risk.
Whenever we take the exit, the situation may turn for the better or for the worse and we may start thinking about the ifs and buts. However; there is no point in crying over spilt milk.
Once we take the exit, the next step is to realign our position with our strategic goal and then continue marching forward.
