Do you consume enough green ?
One of the things I learnt while managing my food is the percentage of greens in my food. I started as a vegetarian but over time I indulged in more and more meat and lately I realized that the portion of green in my food had actually decreased over time.
I discovered that green is located at the bottom of the so called food triangle and the meat is at the top of the triangle. The significance of the food triangle lies in the type of the food we eat. Higher the placement of the food in the food triangle (think meat), more tastier is the food. Lower the placement of the food in the food triangle (think green), less tastier is the food.
I discovered that I had gone higher up in the food triangle over time. I am currently revisiting the food triangle to optimize my food intake and going more green.
