Would you prefer to write a longer post or a shorter post ?

The post you are reading can be classified or categorized as a short post or a long post. The length of the post may determine the classification of the post.

The million dollar question is what determines the length of the post? How may words should the post contain to be classified as a short post or a long post. The answer to the question is ‘It Depends’.

I think that people write longer posts when they want to write what they had in mind and they may have intended to write a shorter post at some point but they may not have had the time to go pursue the opportunity of writing a shorter post. As people keep writing, the longer post slowly become shorter in size and this may be due to various reasons like they want to optimize the content and fit their content into a requirement that has a smaller size limitation or the fact that they do not want to lose their audience they have engaged for so long.

I think that irrespective of the reason behind writing the post, the main reason of writing the post should align with the goal of satisfying the target audience and hence quality and not the quantity should be the decisive factor.

I think that size of the post does not matter. Quality matters.
