Parents and GrandParents go back 2 School

The time is back to school and I noticed a lot of parents and grandparents at the school. Some of them are dropping their near and dear ones and some of them are picking them up. One would think, “What’s the big deal”?

I had an opportunity to talk to some of the parents and grandparents and I would like to share them with you.

The big deal is the ‘support’ they are giving those going back to school.

Education has slowly turned out to be a deal where the main focus of the students is to ‘get there and get out‘. A part of this mentality may be from the teachers and a part form the parents, grandparents, or a guardian of the kid. A part may be because the kids mentor does not believe in the education system as the system does not groom the kid to face the real world.

The mentality acts like a bacteria and slowly spreads to the kids going back to the school and people notice the lack of involvement and ownership.

Kids play an important part of the succession planning and if the kids do not haveĀ  the right mentality , the future may look bleak in place of looking rosy.

One way for the kids to participate actively in school so that they can be better citizens in the future is to motivate them when they are young and at school. Parents and Grandparents can ensure that by supporting the kids when they go back to school.
