Can you connect the dots in a puzzle ?
One of the puzzles that I cherished when I was growing up was the one where there were a whole bunch of dots and I was asked to connect the dots. Sometimes, there were hints like numbers by the side. I learnt to connect the dots and when the puzzle was completed, I had a picture of a squirrel or an eagle.
In addition, I also learnt to count numbers.
As I grew older I learnt that I still solve puzzles except that there are no numbers and there are no dots either.
Do you feel the same way ?
The YALM in this exercise is that all of us have the ability to connect the dots and with practice we learn to connect the dots even if the dots do not exist and we do this exercise based on our perceptions and imaginations !!!
Perhaps that is why i may end up with a squirrel whereas you may have connected the dots and got an eagle.
