If the Pen is mightier than the sword, are the electrons mightier than the pen… ?
Long time back the metaphor “the pen is mightier than the sword’ was so true, but so were so many other things, that eventually died down, over time. The question that keeps hitting my mind again and again is if the pen continues to be mightier than the sword and if the answer to the question is in the affirmative, then does some thing exist that is mightier than the pen?
I think yes and my answer is ‘electrons’.
Allow me to explain.
Look at the breadth and popularity of the blogs on the internet . What does it tell ya? Perhaps that people across the world continue to read and communicate around the world at a rapidly increasing pace. However; one could argue that there is no pen and the answer is yes; its a website and the website is nothing but electrons arranged in a particular format. You seem perplexed and ready to leave and I think you should after you read my explanation.
When the page that you are reading is transmitted via a wireless router , then the page you see on your laptop, is nothing but a form of radio waves which when broken down is stream of electrons.
Now you tell me if the electrons are mightier than the pen ?
