Control your YANT incrementally
A YANT refers to Yet Another Negative Thought. One of my mentors always used to state that people who cannot do something should not prevent people who think that they can.
Everyday we process gazillion tonnes of data and some of them are disguised as a YANT. A YANT by definition is negative and can result in delaying our progress measured against our goals if the YANT is not controlled.
We can control our YANT by focussing on the positive things in life. For example; we can think of what are the three things that I am grateful for today?
We may want to control them incrementally as if we have been facing YANT and have not controlled YANT before then the chances are that YANT may appear to have the upper hand over our logical thinking. Controlling YANT takes time and we must remember that Rome was not built in a day
