That was a perfect picture of your family
I recently visited a friend of mine for a cup of coffee. The living room was full of fantastic photographs. I was touched by the humongous effort taken by my friend and I decided to print out a few of my own photographs. Right then a thought hit me like lightning. I am sharing the thought for your review.
We take thousands and thousands of photographs. However; we only print a chosen few. We tend to chose the winner photgraphs and ignore the other photographs that may have deserved merit to be hung for display in our living room.
The concept I am talking about is called “Survivorship bias ” .
We see winners and we keep learning from them.
We forget our huge pool of unseen losers, and we call the kettle black.
